to advancing research security and integrity across Latin America.

Who we are

The South American Research Security Consortium (SARSeC) is dedicated to advancing research security and integrity across Latin America. Our mission is to foster a collaborative environment where member institutions can proactively address risks and threats to their research activities. By providing robust standard operating procedures (SOPs), best practice guides, and training resources, SARSeC aims to empower researchers and institutions to maintain the highest standards of research security. Through our initiatives, we seek to create a network of research security leaders who are well-equipped to handle the dynamic challenges of the research landscape in Latin America. SARSeC’s efforts are grounded in a participatory approach, ensuring that our resources reflect the diverse needs and contexts of our members.
